Whoa 😱 what a long ingredient list right! I had to check to see if any of them is repeated twice. There are a lot of natural extracts from flowers, plants, fruits and even fermented ingredients (Lactobacillus) which are very good for the skin. However, I really questioned some ingredients like, starfruit, mango and banana🍌?? It really makes me wonder if it is necessary to include all of them but as long as there is no harmful ingredients, it is cool for me.

I am glad that rice water and rice 🍚 is at top of the list which are the key ingredient of this cleanser. Rice is a natural source of antioxidants and helps brighten up the skin. It also contains some moisturising agent like gylcerin, sodium hyaluronate and panthenol.

A very creative and interesting packaging as it comes with the bubble foam pump system where you do not have to massage the product on your hand to create a foam.

Also, there are real rice bits or oat grains at the base of the product, which means you get the benefits straight from the source! 🌾

A rich, soft, foamy lather

Smells like brown rice tea

I have put the cleanser to the test by using it to remove my lip tint, waterproof eyebrow colour and foundation from Too Faced which I use almost everyday. I did not use any makeup remover before that. From the result above, we can see it does not remove the waterproof eyebrow colour completely and a bit of red tint was left too. Although it removes the foundation, a double cleansing method is still recommended especially for those who wear heavy makeup.

My overall view

So far,  I have been enjoying this product, as you can see, I have used almost half it. There are days where I really look forward to having a clean face after a long day at work and the scent of the cleanser is somehow very refreshing. The rich foam is also something I enjoy. I had used a pump cleanser by The Body Shop before but the foam was not as fine and rich as this.

The only thing that I feel sceptical about this product is it can be quite drying sometimes as my skin, especially the lip area would feel tight. And, I have found online that it has a pH of 7 which might explain the tight feeling (it is recommend to use pH 5-7 for our skin). However, I have dry skin, it works fine for me and I think as long as you hydrate and moisturise well after cleansing, it is fine. Whereas for brightening ⭐️, I do not see any noticeable changes. I have acne scars that has faded a little but I do not think this product alone does the work.

Would I recommend? Yes, especially if you enjoy foam cleanser. I rate this 4/5.

Would I repurchase? Maybe, I would like to try the green tea version. 🍵

How do I use? I use this after using a cleansing water (only for night routine). One pump is enough for me and I massage the foam gently onto damp face for around 30 seconds. Rinse off with warm water.
