March Favourites 2018

Hello peeps, hope you march in April confidently and positively despite all dramas in life. It is a month where I discovered quite a few of good new products and would like to share the ones I have been loving so far in this post.

Biore UV Anti-Pollution Body Care Serum SPF 50+ PA+++

I thought Nivea does the best sunscreen until my friend recommended Biore and I love it. It is super moisturising and non-sticky at all. I picked up the one in travel size in Watson as I was in need of body sunscreen for my Bali trip last month.

Where to buy: Guardian, Watson

12COS Nutritive Curl with Marula Oil

If you have not realised, I permed my hair last month and the hair stylist recommended me this hair lotion for my curls. It is a bit sticky to apply but it does help to hold my curls and does not leave my hair greasy and tacky. It contains marula oil which is good for the hair. I could not find this online so if you would like to purchase, you can visit The Hair Factory in Sibu where I got my hair done. Do let me know in the comments below if you know other good products for permed hair. 🙂

Ryo Ginseng Damage Care Shampoo

This was on sales on Hermo so I decided to try as I was running out of shampoo. This is so far the best shampoo I have used other than John Freida’s and OGX’s. It does have a strong ginseng smell but it leaves my hair so smooth and frizz-free. It is not sulfate-free as it contains Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS) but it is known that ALS is less irritating than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).

Where to buy: Hermo

Skincare

Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion

Hada Labo is one of the famous drugstore skincare brand in Malaysia. My skin was becoming really dehydrated and sensitive so I decided to give this a try after reading many good reviews. After using this for a month, oh my… it is that product where you think it is the expensive moisturiser that worked for your skin but it is actually this little and affordable product here with simple but great ingredients did all the hard work. The star ingredients are the 4 types of hyaluronic acid molecules which help to hydrate from the surface to the inner skin layers. They do the Light version for people who have oily skin type. It is also free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colourant so definitely recommended for those who have sensitive skin. I bought this in Watson but I am sure it is widely sold in many other drugstores.

Where to buy: Watson, Guardian, Hermo

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel

I wanted something soothing on my face after my visit to the esthetician last month so I went ahead to buy this after reading good reviews about it. It works brilliantly! Whenever there is any breakouts, I would apply this on the troubled area. The pimple would appear smaller and less red after a few hours. I would also use this after a hot day to calm my skin.

Where to buy: StyleKorean, Hermo, JolseWako

ALXB7378

Huxley Oil and Extract Mask

The last skincare products that I would like to share is this baby! Their oil-like essence which I love was featured in my February favs and this worked great too! You know some sheet masks will sting your eyes or make your eyes red and watery after using, I do not experience any of that at all with this baby. The sheet mask is definitely high quality made and it is kinda a cool to blend the oil into the sheet mask by folding the bottom of the pouch when you want to use it. It leaves my skin moisturised but not heavy at all even though it contains oil. It does have a weird herbal smell which is different from the essence but I am okay with it.  This can be a bit pricy for 3 masks but definitely worth it to buy during sales or you want to pamper yourself once in a while.

Where to buy: Hermo, JolseWako, Yesstyle

HEXO4037

3CE Face Blush #Nude Peach

I think 3CE is getting better and better over these years with their products. This is a safe peach colour blush with a pink undertone. It is not very pigmented so perfect for a natural makeup look. I have used this for my Strawberrry Spring makeup look.

Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion SPF50+ PA+++

Ahhh… By now, you should know I have been loving the 2 in 1 concept for cushions. This is another cushion that contains skincare ingredients by Troiareuke. I bought this during sales on StyleKorean and I am glad I did. All I can say for now is my skin loves this product as much as my all time favourite Laneige’s BB cushion. There is so much to say, so I think I might do a post for all of my cushions… leave a comment below if you think I should 🙂

Etude House Colour My Brow #01 Rich Brown

I used to have a full size of this but I bought a mini instead as the previous one dried out before I can finish it. I would just brush some product onto my brows and then use a clean brow brush to even out everything. It makes my brows very natural and fuller.
